These are for dogs that are older than young puppies, and may have similar issues, but are more ingrained with the passing of time. So their behaviours may have become more established – perhaps now directing their behaviour at a particular person or object.
They can also be useful for owners who may not want to join a dog training class, and want more personal assistance. The one to one session often spends time looking at the relationship between the owner and dog, and any problems that it may be creating.
It is normally a two hour session plus two one hour follow up visit, and is usually conducted at the owner’s home. The sessions focus on typical training problems, but what is taught will be decided as much by the owner as by me. The owner will tell me what they want taught or un-taught, but there may be other issues that I might suggest could be useful to them, and they can decide if they agree.
